A week later Maya stood with Abby, folding clothes and piling them up in the wardrobe neatly, most of them were new and for the kids all thanks to Abby.

Even though she never told Maya how she got the money, Maya was still appreciative.

She rarely saw the children though, for even when they were back home once they were done with their assignments they were downstairs waiting at the stairs for Derinem.

When she had the strength she sent them inside. But when she wasn't ready for Milo's silent treatment she let them be.

Like the day before yesterday, they had stayed with him and by eight, he carried their sleepy body into their room dropping them onto the bed one after the other.

Still, he didn't say anything to her, not even a goodnight.
