As expected, one of them came with a story like mine. Rejected at first glance, and it had to be the most insecure of them—Jean.

Camilla said her mate was a Black Rose warrior whom they met at the market. He rejected her the moment he saw the Your Silver logo on her.

Was Black Rose Pack supposed to be hateful towards Your Silver’s warriors? We hadn’t done anything to them. We returned their hunters.

“Camilla, steal that warrior.” I snapped my head to her immediately. Her eyes widened but slowly dilated. “I should bring him here?”

“Yes, go alone. Do it discreetly. Let no one from his pack know Your Silver’s warriors took him.”

“Very well, in chains and beaten, yes?” she asked again.

Dara smiled, shaking her head. “Do you want Jean to hate you more? I think Your Silver just wants to talk to him.”
