Chris’s POV
Your Silver has haunted me since her coming here. A Lycan around her pack? What other Lycan than the one I was looking at now?
I raised the torchlight to see his face, he was laying face down, always tired. He was breathing heavily as he just eaten.
My warriors treated him like a pet, and he surely acted like one. I dropped the torch at the holder and attempted walking away.
Suddenly, the Lycan growled halting me. It had authority and commanded obedience, my legs had frozen at the sound.
He had never shifted to his human form so there was no way to talk to him. Though I was aware Lycans could communicate verbally in wolf form.
This one was just stubborn. “Do you want to say something? How many of your kinds are out there?” I folded my arms.
A chuckle erupted from him, it made the fire on the touch flicker. At least, that was a reaction, not an ideal one but it was something.
