Chapter 102

11:40 pm.

I couldn't sleep. I was sleepy though, but I was just forcing myself to stay awake, to see if Uche would make it past twelve without waking up.

I watched videos online till I felt my stomach rumble while I yawned. I then remembered I had the food I had taken out earlier in the room with me.

I immediately went to it and brought it closer to my nose, to see if it was still good. It smelt normal but I still had to be sure so I used the spoon to stir it and taste with the tip of my tongue.
