Chapter 60

While I waited, I looked towards the window and I could see the window to my room from where I seated but that was just it. I couldn't see inside my room from his room but it was a clear view to his room whenever I looked out my room window.

My eyes caught a picture that was sitting on the top of his mini cupboard with other things.

I quickly got up from the bed and went to have a better look at it almost tumbling over from curiousity. It was a woman in the picture, she looked like she was in her late thirties.

There was a certain resemblance I noticed in her, she had a smile just like Uche's. Was this his mum? but she wasn't African, she was... well... white. Oh, his mum's white. Fuck. I didn't know that.

I kept it and picked up the second picture sitting next to it. The same woman was in that picture but with Uche's Dad this time, my guess was right, it was his mum but where was she? The picture looked a bit aged like it was from years ago; probably was.
