Once I walked out of the school building, I saw only Uche and Kim waiting for me. "Where's Nick?" I asked as I joined them.

"He just left. His mum had him bring her some files from home to her office urgently." Uche explained and put his phone in his pocket when I started walking next to him.

"So why did Kim wait with you?" I asked and got a raised brows reaction from Kim.

"So you're okay with Uche waiting for you and not me?" He stopped to ask me, a slight tone of anger in his voice.
