Chapter 115. Following Jacob’s Orders
Though his words were veiled, the implication was clear to all. Beyond the obvious dangers, he hinted at preventing Lancelot from making inappropriate advances.
But Hubert had no fear of Lancelot’s intentions. After all, they had shared many intimate moments, obliterating any remnants of distance between them. Hubert hesitated to restrain Lancelot. As Canis rightly pointed out, he was physically superior. What threat could Lancelot possibly pose?
"Hubert… Did I almost harm you earlier?"
"Not even close. You’re much weaker than me."
Hubert responded, reclining into his seat, eyes fluttering shut. Shortly after, Lancelot leaned down, gesturing for Hubert to lay on his lap, suggesting it might be a more comfortable resting place.
"It’ll make your leg numb."
Despite Hubert’s playful protest, he didn’t move. He curled up, feet on the seat, a gleeful grin on his face. Lancelot promptly replied:
