Chapter 102. Girls’ Night Out

We were so into the discussion we didn't notice Min walk in. 

"Um Mei," Min called my name, startling everyone. I placed my hand on my chest and took deep breaths. 

"You scared me," I replied. 

"Can I talk to you for a second?" he asked, offering silent apologies to the girls. I walked up to him to get answers but he wouldn't say anything until I was in the study with him. He nods at the girls and takes my hand leading me to the study. 

"What's wrong?" I asked him when we got into the study. 

"I'm needed at the restaurant, there are a lot of people," Min said scratching his head. 

"But you promised to stay with me," I whined. it didn't matter that I was with the girls, he promised that he was going to spend the day with me but now he just wanted to leave me home. I looked at him afraid to let the thoughts of him possibly going to see his ex crowd my judgment. But that was all I could think of. Was he abandoning me for her? O
