Chapter 109. Six Months Together
With Min on the trip back home, the twelve-hour ride back to home didn't seem too long. We sat together in the middle of the bus. It was a red thirty-seater bus, and we chose to sit down two rows away from the last row. Min sat outside while I sat close to the window. I watched the road and watched the change go from bright to dark while talking to Min and laughing.
We arrived back at the hotel where I spent the night before I went on my little break. I opened my safe and took my phone, my card, and everything else I had placed in the storage space. I returned the key and we boarded a cab back to the condo.
I tried to turn on my phone, but it was turned off. I must have forgotten to turn it off and it must have ended up dying. Two weeks without charging juice and what I was sure were numerous calls from my friends.
