Chapter 111. Sugar Rush

The family date with my parents turned out better than I thought. Somehow, they treated Min with some respect, talked, and exchanged contact. I don't think anyone would be calling anyone soon but at least they did it. That counts as something. I walked my parents back to the lobby after they stopped by the apartment to drop Min and me off. They also took in the state of the house and got a slice of my overgrown scone. 

The couch called out to me when I got to the apartment and I didn't resist its call. I lay on it and was about to sleep but my phone dinged. It was a notification from my group chat with the girls. It had its notification sound. The sound was birds chirping. We talk a lot and when it gets rowdy it sometimes sounds like a bird chirping. I finally opened the group chat and saw everyone tagging me and stating how angry they were that I would decide to run away with my husband and not inform them. 

June wrote that she was offended that she had to hea
