Chapter 25. Dating Tragedy
Min Jun suddenly appeared behind me and he looked out of place, I should have gotten him to wear a suit, not appear here looking like he got his clothes from the train station lost and found. He got settled in and I introduced him to my parents pretending to not see the way he was dressed.
I could see how unimpressed my parents were but it didn’t matter much, he was here now, and they finally believed I had someone to who I was going to get married. It felt like that was all that mattered until Dad decided to start bargaining on a price for Min Jun to leave me.
“Apa,” I whined when he offered Min Jun half a million to leave me alone.
“Half a million,” Dad clarified. Why was he willing to pay a complete stranger half a million? Was he angry that I was growing up?
“I will,” Min Jun’s voice snapped me out of my thought and I turned to look at him. I wouldn’t blame anyone for choosing half a million over a hundred thousand.
