Chapter 27. Love Me Thoroughly

Everyone was gathered in the living room, Dad, Mom, the maids, and my driver.

“What are you doing here?” I asked him. I let him go home early so why was he here again?

“Your dad called when no one could find you,” He said.

“I’m fine, you can go home now. I will handle this,” I said to him.

He looked at my dad, my dad nodded and he walked out.

After my driver left, my mom dismissed the maid and I was stuck with my parents.

“Where were you?” Dad asked me.

“I was at the restaurant and now I am here,” I said.

“The driver got to the restaurant and you weren’t there and we called your driver and you weren’t with him. He came here immediately and we all waited for our driver but he still couldn’t find you. We were worried,” Mom explained.

“You left me at the restaurant so I found my way home,” I said to them. “Can I at least come in?” I asked realizing I was still standing by the door.
