“Okay, lets get you home then.” he tells me, handing his scotch glass to the other guy.

“No, it's fine. You stay, chat with your friends. They seem nice,” I gulp, my gaze veering behind me then sideways, I'm checking my surroundings because now I feel vulnerable.

“I'm not letting you leave alone.” he tells me.

“Compromise.” I whisper, touching his hand, but I quickly drop it because of how sweaty my palm has become. “Stay with your friends, we can have that chat you've been speaking of and I promise to sleep in your room tomorrow night. Still no touching.”

“Okay, take driver, not an Uber. I'll stay a few minutes but I'll be right behind you.” he tells me, keeping to himself and honoring my no touch rule. “Fine. Text me when you're home, safe in bed.” he warns.

I nod, saying a short goodbye to Nico and the other guy I am not interested in meeting. He knows demons, thee demon to be specific and I'm not to be within it's reach. He will drag me to the pits of hell
