Chapter 135

I tap the door a few times, calling to her as I knock before I open the door. The room looks vacant, with no trace of Aurora but I do spot her phone playing. 

“Aurora,” I call out, while surveying the room. I check the walk in closet but she's not in there. The bathroom door is slightly open, I can hear the water running. She must be bathing, that's why she didn't respond to my knocking.

I'm tired too, I need to freshen up and know I shouldn't push it with Aurora but I can't help myself. I want to be near her all the time, with that thought only in mind, I kick my shoes off, and my jacket, discarding them on the floor next to the door before I step in, trying to loosen my tie.
