“Officer, you're at the wrong place. This is my daughter and you're interrupting my granddaughter's birthday celebration,” the woman I saw when cutting the cake says, pointing to Aurora. 

Estelle shakes her head. “No, it’s not her birthday.” she tells her, “Her birthday was last month and I mourned her loss on it. Your daughter kidnapped my child and has the audacity to celebrate her birthday on the wrong date?”

“I didn't kidnap anyone, you're insane.” Aurora defends, holding the child closer to her.

My grin widen and I bite my lip to keep from laughing. Aurora thinks she's smart, she knows she's lying and goddamn Emelia is backing her up with her lies. The she's mine, she's not yours argument goes on for a few minutes. Estelle is losing, and she's a fucking idiot for not bringing any evidence to prove the child is hers. Estelle had no one on her side except the officer who seems too scared to stand up to Katherine, simply staring at the knife in her hand.&nbs
