“No!” I instantly blurt out.

“Dude, jerk move.” Emelia groans, tossing a pillow at his head. “But thank you so much for getting our little baby girl back, Estelle wasn't giving vibes.

Caelum nods, “Well, Aurora, eat.”

“Okay, but when can I see her?”

“I told you, when a judge finalizes the documents. Cassian is working real hard for it to be soon, we all miss your kid.”

My gaze drifts to Cassian and I sniff, letting Caelum wipe what's left of my tears. “I love you, Cassian. You're my favorite person, next to my daughter.”

Caelum instantly sneers, “You know that's not true.”

“That's offensive Aurora.” Emelia snarls. “But Caelum is right.”

“Well you're both wrong, I love Cass. And you two never agree.” I snort.

They both turn to each other and shrug, the movement mirrored so precise. “When it comes to you, we do.”
