“Let me pop in at work and we can do brunch together.” Mom says, and with that she's gone. 

I shrug, taking another sip of the coffee, It could use some more sugar but then I could use more caffeine and so I down it, my gaze lifting to meet Bella's.

“Yes?” I frown, tired of the silent gawking.

“What school are you taking me to?”

I shrug, I didn't get that far in planning. I assumed mom would disagree and I would have to argue to prove my point best so I focused on that rather than the actual school. “Honestly Bella, I didn't get that far. Caelum gassed me up and that was it I was high on confidence.”

“Thank Caelum for me, he's a good person you know?”

I nod, he is a good person, too good for me. “Um, you could apply at Gia's school.”
