“Hello Mr. Kline,” I grin. “What a surprise seeing you here, are those for me?”

“It's not, I'm here often and no it's not for you.”

I shrug but nod almost instantly. He's right, he does come to my house often but most times it's never to see me. “Cute, you bought Ryker some get well soon gifts, but he's actually better now.”

“Why would I get Ryker shit? It's not the first time he's been shot.”

“Fair,” I snort. They're so used to each other getting shot by now that it doesn't shock or matter to them, it's become a natural occurrence. “If they're for Gia she-”

“Not for her either, I got them for Layla.”

“Layla?” I gasp.

Caelum raises an eyebrow at me and I close my mouth, not saying anything else that might potentially anger him as my shock nearly did. “Sorry,” I clear my throat. “Layla doesn't live here incase you didn't notice, she's with her mother at the moment.”

“Aurora is back?”

I nod, “She arrived yesterday morning.”
