It worries me half the time, and honestly, I never thought he'd end up with anyone permanent, assessing his love interests, they're more pastime than wifely.

Cassian walks into my lounge and drops into his previous seat, with an overly giddy Xena sinking into his lap. He has a new girl on him every day, but today he's a little reckless with it, Xena is the fourth girl he's been with in the last two hours and undoubtedly, he must have had sex with them. I feel sorry for the little pampered princess he ends up with, she has her work cut out for her and I'm friends with her sister so I know a little bit about her. My phone dings with a message from Aurora, and about five more from her, making Ryker jolt up from my stomach. Aurora does this when she's mad, multi-texting because she can't wait to let out her anger so she sends various messages that could have been one paragraph if she had the patience.

“Birdie, who's texting us?” Ryker asks, a hint of jealousy hidden in his tone.
