Chapter 58

Mira’s POV

I watched as he was pulled inside a portal. I felt my breath coming back to me as I felt like fainting. I relaxed at my door as my heart beat so fast.

“Lizzy!” I ran to her as I rushed to her while she was in pain. “Hang in there, Lizzy. I will help you.” I did all I could to save her, but it wasn’t working. Tears streamed down my eyes as I just didn’t know what the next step to take.

I took a knife and cut my hands, and blood started coming out as I placed it in front of her mouth. “Drink, Lizzy, please.” I put my cut hands to her mouth, and she started drinking the blood. I noticed I was becoming weak. After she was done, I found myself on the floor, feeling so weak. I slowly closed my eyes as I felt as if all my life force had been drawn out of me.
