I couldn’t believe that Ethan would leave me all alone in the middle of nowhere. I couldn’t even get a cab because it was already so late and where he dropped me off wasn’t somewhere I could easily get a cab.

I was freezing so much and just staggered around, not having any idea of where I was going. I didn’t even know just where I was headed and just kept walking around, in hopes that I would find a cab.

I hated my life at that moment and kept struggling with the urge to break down and cry, I didn’t even know when tears rolled down my eyes. I just couldn’t help it anymore.

Then suddenly a car pulled over. I studied it very closely and could see that it was not a car. I held myself tightly in case it happened to be someone armed and I would easily run away, not losing my guard.
