I woke up with my head pounding hard. I had never had such a headache before and was a hundred percent sure that it was a migraine as it was driving me insane.

I turned to see that it was already nine a.m. I was so late for work and the worst part was that my so-called assistant didn’t even bother coming to wake me up.

Sometimes I even wondered why I hired him but then again I’ve fired so many assistants in the past and he was technically the only one who could tolerate me which was kind of fair on my part.

I was about to leave for the bathroom but the banging headache wasn’t helping much. I was feeling uncomfortable and then a knock came on my door.

A maid walked on with a tray of soup and medicine by the side. I was wondering what she was doing here, especially with that.
