My heart raced, I was boiling with anger and hurt and once I got inside, I couldn’t hold back the storm inside me.
The door slammed behind us, and I began.
Trashing the living room. Murmuring, “She calls this her home.” I was unable to shake off the anger I was feeling. Remembering the shirt she talked about, I headed upstairs to our bedroom, the shirt I was wearing earlier, the one the so-called Victoria spilled coffee on.
I started throwing things, wrecking the room, taking the sheets off the bed, getting a pair of scissors from the drawer, ripping the shirt to pieces.
Ethan tried to calm me, but I was too furious. I didn’t budge, “Liv, You don’t have to do this.” His pleas falling on deaf ears.
“Olivia, trashing our home won’t fix anything. Let’s sit down and talk it out.”
I flung another item across the room, the crash echoing throughout the room.
