“Yes sir, but there are a few things that need Mr. Logan’s approval, and he hasn’t come into work for days now,” my secretary said.

The fact that Logan quit was giving me a headache so much, and why did he think he owned the right to quit? It was my family business, not his. Did I pay him to talk back at me?

I missed her so much, whatever I was doing with Victoria was nothing compared to what we shared. Her charming smile and the way she made me happy uncontrollably.

But she knew how much it drained me to get that man out of there, and she kept offering her support.
