“You guys really don’t have to see me off, you know,” I said as Logan helped me to put my suitcase in the trunk of the Uber.
“It would be unfair of us to let you go by yourself after staying here, Liv. Just at the airport, even if we don’t follow you in. At least, I know you’re safe,” Lillian said.
She’s really a nice soul, we had a lot of time to bond, she’s a doctor and she runs her clinic. A dermatologist to be exact, she’s really a wonderful person and I pray that they finally get the child they want to.
“It’s okay, I want to see someone before heading to the airport, I want to say my goodbye to them,” I said, opening the car door.
“Are you sure, Livy?” it was a new nickname for me, from my friend who cared more about me than herself.
“I’m sure, I’ll call you when I get there, I head San Francisco is nice, I’ll have to go find out for myself.” I shut the door once I got in. “Thank you guys so much for everything. I promise to call you,”
