The next day, Lucas went with Faith and Kylie to the port to meet with the other workers from the company. There weren’t many people at the port yet, though, because they had arrived very early. Khloe, however, was one of the few people who were there. She held Aiden’s hand, and they were displaying their love for each other for Laurence’s viewing pleasure. They can’t let her father get upset.

Laurence, who was Aiden’s future father-in-law, told him to take good care of Khloe.

Khloe stared at Kylie while she kissed Aiden, which made Faith sick. Faith is the one being affected by the act Khloe had made in front of the public. She wanted to slap Khloe’s face! Laurence saw the anger in her eyes, though, and said, “Faith, go clean up the chairs. Make it quick.”

“Me?” Faith gasped, surprised – but then she realized that Laurence was punishing her because of Khloe.
