Why Are You Here?

When everyone arrived at the bar, they were surprised. They had expected something posh, but this place operated out of a side door in the middle of a dark alley. Faith looked at the door and asked if the place was even safe. Dinah smiled and said, “Don’t worry. Anywhere I go is absolutely safe.”

Faith still looked anxious, though, so Kylie pulled her aside and asked her what was wrong. Faith just shook her head and said, “I can’t explain it, but I have a bad feeling about this place. Can we just find another place, not this one? I feel it wasn’t safe to stay here.”

“Just give it a try,” Kylie said. “If you still don’t like it, we can leave, but I don’t think Fannie would have suggested this place if it wasn’t safe.”
