Kylie laughed and said to Ethan in a quiet voice, “We must be careful because there is a little kid with us.”

Ethan glanced at Ben. “He can go back home now.”

“I’m not going home!” Ben leaned on the back of the sofa. “Mom, I’m starving,” he said to Kylie with a pitiful expression.

“Come on, let’s have some delicious food.” Kylie stood up at once and held Ben’s hand, walking to the kitchen.

Ben made a face at Ethan, then jumped with happiness to show his victory along the way.

Seeing Kylie entering the kitchen, Ethan clenched his teeth and raised his arm, which was held in Kylie’s arms just then.

The housekeeper walked over in a hurry and wiped the sweat off Ethan’s forehead. “Mr. Parker, are you sure you’re not going to tell Mrs. Parker?”
