With a clear sound, the phone slipped down from Kylie’s hand to the floor.

“Ethan, h-how did you...” Kylie raised a smile, looking at the tall, strong man standing by the door.

She remembered that she just locked the door. How did Ethan get in? She wanted to ask him how he managed to break in the locked door, yet her thought was in a mess.

How much had he heard about her talk with Tory on the phone?

“What? Shouldn’t I get in right now?” Ethan moved a step forward to the front of Kylie. “Should I read documents in the study right now? Should I be asleep now?”

“No matter what I’m doing now, I shouldn’t have found out that you slipped out, right?”
