Chapter 65

Julia POV

I’m instantly beaming and showing him how happy I am with a kiss but pull back before it gets too hot and heavy for public eyes. “I love it. Thank you, baby.” He looks relieved with my answer but before he can say anything Nina’s bell-like laugh puts both of our attention on her as she runs across the yard and straight into Mario’s arms. Despite the past, Mario has a true love for Nina and is an incredible uncle and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

After spending over two hours talking with guests and playing games Riley announces that it’s time to reveal the gender and I suddenly feel nervous. I don’t care what the gender is as long as the baby is healthy, that’s really all that matters and I know that Riley feels the same but I also know that he would like another little girl.

He hasn’t said it outright but I know that missing out on the first 4 years of Nina’s life still hurt him so I can only imagine that he would love to have another little g
