Chapter 24
Michael Zabo couldn't believe the transformation. Stuck in Chicago during his layover to Phoenix, he figured he'd get a haircut. But the men's barbershop was packed with execs, so he wandered over to a nearly empty women's salon. He poked his head in and asked if they did men's hair too. The stylist welcomed him in with open arms.
As they chatted and prepped him for the cut, she remarked, "You've got such great hair, sir. It's a shame about the premature gray."
About to correct her that he was born with white hair, he paused, considering another option. "I've been gray forever. Wonder if we could change that?"
"How much time you got before your next flight?" she asked.
"Two and a half hours," he replied.
With a grin, she assured him she could work a miracle with a double process and guaranteed he'd love his new look.
