Chapter 261

Stephano scrambled up the steps, trying to catch her, before she hurt herself. He was able to keep her head from hitting the floor. He pulled the handle on the door to close it. He picked Patty up, and carried her to the bedroom. He put her into her bed, went to the kitchen, wet a towel, and returned to see how she was.

He used the towel to wet her face and neck, and waited patiently for her to return to consciousness.

As her eyes started to flutter, he smiled at her and said, "I guess you're surprised to see me."
