Chapter 92

Elmore and his crew bolted down the only hallway leading from the emergency room, hunting for the intruders. Two guys shot up the first stairwell to the second floor, while Elmore and his partner checked every door on the first floor, then hustled down to the basement. But the staff down there told them the bad guys had already come and gone, heading up to the upper floors.

They raced up to the second floor and bumped into Sergeant and his crew. Rodriguez was sprawled out, blood pooling on the floor.

Hearing the ruckus, Nurse Callaway waved them into the dialysis lab, saying she had two more in there.
