Chapter 99

He had bested her once more, and she was seething. Losing didn't sit well with her, and this was the second time in as many days he'd managed to outwit her. Standing up, she stormed past him. In a fit of rage, she swung the package and smacked him in the back of his head. The package burst open, and her underwear went flying in all directions. Patricia let out a mortified scream, while Stephano was doubled over with laughter.

The waiter hurried over with a plastic bag to help her gather up her scattered undergarments, all while Stephano remained seated, still chuckling.

As she passed him again, she swung the bag once more, connecting with him. This time, the bag held up, but the soft contents didn't do much harm.

He turned to her with a grin and quipped, "I want more, please," in a nod to the famous Charles Dickens line.

Patricia turned to him with a challenge, "If you want more, you'll have to come and get it."
