Chapter 21

Cara

We were heading back to America so that Sienna and Eric could attend Marco's ball. I knew that Sienna had always avoided it but now she had to go. She didn't have any reason not to this time.

I was actually surprised that she agreed to go. She could do whatever she liked, and she could have even decided not to go. I wondered why she was going. Maybe Eric convinced her to. I would have to ask her if I wanted to find out.

Sienna was a dangerous woman, and her self restraint was little to none while Eric was also very dangerous. I wondered if they were a good influence on each other or not. Time would surely tell, though.

I nodded at Sienna as she walked up the steps into her private plane. I watched Eric Connall walk up behind her. He was a ruthless man. The first day I saw him, I was a little afraid. He was tall and very intimidating. And powerful men, especially men in the Mafia, were particularly scary.
