So instead, she clamped down on her and dove her into the earth so hard it cracked and it felt like Eleanor had been slammed through mountains.
Eleanor’s paws clawed wildly as pain coursed through every fibre of her being, with water bursting from her body desperately, soaking them both while cutting Naina’s wolf as it came out.
But Naina was relentless in her grip. The rage and the protectiveness gave her immense strength to hold on, overwhelming Eleanor to the ground and not giving her a chance to summon any magic.
Then, with a swift twist, she flung Eleanor to a tree, and the water wolf slammed into it with a sickening crack, slipping weakly to the ground right before the tree snapped in half from the impact, falling magnificently to the ground.
