Chapter 118
POV: Harin
I feel Jaewon’s hand touch mine as I lay on his shoulder and grab some popcorn. My tears don’t subside easily, which surprises me, but in a particular scene where Tim, the main character, decides to go back in time with his sister, Kit Kat, to fix a sad and trauma-filled past she had in an abusive relationship, it leaves me breathless. Jaewon smiles when Tim’s plan succeeds and fixes his sister’s present, but when the character returns home, to his wife and daughter, he’s surprised to find out that, due to one single decision, his life has changed and his beloved daughter no longer exists in that present, but instead, a little boy, whom Tim doesn’t know as his son.
I squeeze Jaewon’s hand when the character faces what we could call a crossroads. He needs to decide: let his sister live through all she went through, ending up in a hospital after an accident, or forget forever that his beloved daughter existed.
And the decision that follows shocks me
