POV: Harin

I hear the sound of the elevator opening and I startle slightly.

“Mother-in-law!” I say excitedly when I see her curious eyes, surely surprised because the elevator already brought her inside the apartment. I hug her when I stop in front of her, making her laugh as she returns the gesture. “I missed you.”

“Long time, son,” she says, touching my face tenderly. “You left my entrance unlocked, but the doorman helped me up. I didn’t know it was a one-floor apartment and especially that the elevator would bring me here inside. How fancy.”

I smile, nodding. “Yeah, mother-in-law, it’s quite fancy indeed.”

“And this little girl,” she touches my belly, caressing it. “How she’s grown. She’s beautiful.”

“Thank you, mother-in-law. But she’s quite heavy now. My back started to hurt.”

My mother-in-law looks at me with compassion, but then I invite her in, seeing Taesu and SiHo side by side, smiling at her.
