He always spoke highly of you in our meetings, you were quite close, I imagine, weren’t you?” Jaewon still stares at the paper in the next paragraph with the sentence written by Namsoo where it says that Jaewon is the “only” one deserving everything.

“We… used to be like brothers,” he responds quietly.

“That’s excellent,” the lawyer smiles. “But then, what do you think? If needed, you can keep the documents, and we’ll meet again next week to discuss further.”

“Mr. Ha,” he called the man, ignoring what he was saying. “I have a question.”

“And what would that be?”

“Ji-a’s sisters, can they take NamHa away from us?”

“Well… legally, they can file a petition for custody or even for adoption.”

“But… could they actually succeed?” I ask, feeling
