“If I knew I could call, I would have called too,” I said, watching him laugh. “Are you missing them?” he asked.

“A lot! I even checked through the cameras, can you believe it? Skyla was playing with them alone, seemed fine. But you wouldn’t believe, Harin, I wanted to be there…”

“I can imagine, and I also checked the cameras a few times,” he said, smiling as we approached the cafeteria. “Shall we have pasta?”

I furrowed my brow. “Did Sejin free you from that diet?”

“No, but I’ll officially start it on Monday. Today I can.”

I smiled and hugged him around the shoulders. Harin and I placed our orders and sat at a table further away, because even within the company, some people still stared at him too much.

“What did you do today?” he asked.

“Oh, I worked, but finished everything quickly, so I bothered SiHo a bit and then went to see the new group. They’re great.”
