“Why are you here?” I asked Taesu, sitting at the table where Harin was.

“Are you back to being staff?” I joked, laughing as he told me to go to hell.

“We’re just finalizing things for Tae’s wedding,” Harin explained.

“Do you need help organizing the wedding? Don’t you work with that?” I inquired.

“Ever heard the saying ‘The shoemaker’s children always go barefoot’?” he replied seriously. “Planning someone else’s wedding is easy, but mine? It needs to be perfect!”

“It will be, Tae-ah, don’t worry,” I reassured him.

“Yeah, Harin’s right,” I chimed in. “Besides, it’s just a small ceremony in the backyard, right?”

“Small ceremony, my ass!” Taesu interjected, making us laugh. “It’s going to be a big wedding, even if it’s just among friends.”

“Did everything go well with the last one you organized?” I asked.

“Yeah, it did,” he replied with relief. “Everything turned out so beautiful.”
