We walked slowly; Hawoo hadn’t noticed us yet, but when we approached the bed where he was, his dark and curious eyes turned to both of us. And his smile was instantaneous as he stood up and ran towards me, wrapping his arms tightly around my waist.

“You’re back!”

“Hello, little one,” I smiled warmly and lifted him up, finally seeing his round eyes glance over to Harin. “This is Sin Harin.”

“Hello, sir,” Hawoo bowed politely while still nestled in my arms, his index finger pressed against his lips, a hint of shyness evident in his demeanor.

“Hello… You’re Hawoo, right?” Harin’s voice was gentle, his expression welcoming.

Hawoo nodded, a bashful smile gracing his lips, as he tightened his embrace around my neck, seeking comfort in the familiarity of our bond.

“But Mrs. Kin says I can’t call myself that, so you can call me Hana if you want.”

“That’s okay, I think Hawoo is beautiful. It suits you.”
