Chapter 64
Processing what she just said, I glared at my reflection in the mirror. I looked drained, but I planned on going out there, acting like I was okay. Unbothered. Fine.
Inhaling a deep breath and ready to face what was about to come, I stepped out of the room. My apparition made their eyes flick forwards my direction. Amy stopped chatting with Lorenzo and his mother bent her head slightly, unsure of how and when to tender her apology. For a moment, everyone seemed to blur, next thing I knew was that I being clutched into the arms of Lorenzo who glued our bodies into what seemed like a single body.
His hands latched on my waist and I rested my head on his chest, wrapping my arms around him and relishing in the cocoon of comfort his sturdy body offered.
