Chapter 20. Desire for Her

Drake’s POV

“Let me walk you to your room.” I stood up, holding my hand out for her. She hesitated but finally took it.

We headed below deck and followed one of the long hallways that led to the guest bedrooms. I knocked on my door as she walked just behind me.

“This is my room if you change your mind.”

She didn’t say anything and I didn’t comment any further. But when we reached her door, I spun and took her hands in mine before pulling them to my mouth. I placed a soft kiss there and watched her eyes dance with curiosity.

“You can still change your mind, ya know”.

Her eyes whipped up to mine then. “I didn’t get much sleep last night if you remember, so I think I’m going to try to get some tonight.”
