Chapter 89. The Kid Isn’t Mine
Lynn’s POV
I answered the door with a grin on my face but immediately lost it when I saw who was on the other side of the door.
“Melissa.” I was so surprised to see her. All the blood seemed to drain from my face as I looked into her tired eyes.
She had a little boy, around five years old, on her hip, and he looked like he had just woken up from a nap. But I couldn’t stop myself from staring at his eyes—they were the same color as Drake’s—and I felt like someone sucker-punched me in the gut.
“Well, aren’t you going to let us in?” she groaned.
“S…Sorry.” I stepped out of her way and watched as she walked in and threw her stuff down at my feet.
