Chapter 9. Rude and Stubborn

Lynn’s POV

“I pulled a few favors with the boss. Since we’ll be here for the long weekend, I figured we could use it like a vacation as well. We only have to interview Ms. Kavana this evening and the other two days are ours. Figured we could use the beach villas to unwind.” Luis grinned while shrugging his shoulders.

He was amazing. Seriously. Who would have thought he could pull something like this off? Either way, I was extremely thankful for it. The villas were the cutest little things and looked as if they had been featured in many magazines for the island. They felt classy and luxurious, something I wasn’t used to staying in on our jobs.

Palm trees of all shapes and sizes surrounded the villas, giving a bit of privacy between each one. The best part, though, was the views. They were right on the beach and you could see out into the sea for miles. It would also be perfect because the sun would set on this side and I couldn’t wait to put my ass
