I stared at the phone in my hand, biting the insides of my mouth in worry.

“Do you think Knox will listen, and stay back to wait for me to come back?” I asked Jade, staring down at the phone.

Jade snorted. Even Rhea released a small sound of disbelief. ‘Knox? That won’t even be possible, and you know it.’

I winced slightly. That was true. I knew that Knox wouldn’t listen to me and agree to wait patiently for two days.
