Aria’s POV

“It started when I closed my eyes to doze off earlier…” I hesitated, glancing at Knox, and I could see the way his eyes narrowed as he got ready to listen to everything I was about to say.

“Go on,” he urged, folding his arms over his chest.

I swallowed. “When I drifted off, I… wasn’t just dreaming. I was back in Lilith’s tomb.”

He furrowed his eyebrows, giving me a puzzled look. “Lilith? Viktor’s mate? What the hell were you doing there?”

“I don’t know, Knox,” I said with a sigh. “I just… found myself there. Someone wanted to talk to me.”

He tensed instantly at my words, and he frowned. “Who the hell was that? And why did it have to be that tomb?”

“It was Agnes, and it was because of that cursed stake.”
