Aria’s POV
Mama Felz should have been at Gray Moon pack. But here she was, smirking like she had just caught me sneaking out at midnight.
My heart stopped.
“Mama Felz?” I mumbled in disbelief.
She grinned, showing her teeth. “In the fucking flesh.”
My chest tightened, and my legs moved before I could think. I hobbled toward her, my swollen feet aching with every step. But I didn't care.
Mama Felz met me halfway and her wrinkled face split into a genuine smile as I reached her.
“Come here, you stubborn girl,” she said, pulling me into a hug.
I broke, and the tears spilled down my cheeks as I buried my face against her shoulder. Everything I had been holding back, all the fear and exhaustion
