The car door opened and Madison slipped in beside me, a vision in that black cocktail dress. The sweetheart neckline offered just enough glimpse of her cleavage to make my mouth water, and the hemline hit her legs at exactly the right spot to show off those killer calves. Her hair was swept up in some fancy twist that exposed the delicate curve of her neck.

Fuck, she was gorgeous. And she had no idea.

“You’re late,” she said primly.

“Actually, you’re exactly on time.” I couldn’t help the smirk that formed on my lips. “I just wanted to see you standing there, waiting for me.”

The slight flush that colored her cheeks was worth it. I loved getting under her skin, watching her try to maintain that professional composure while I deliberately pushed her buttons.

After some small talk about our destination, I decided to address the elephant in the room. My hand reached her knee, sliding upward beneath her dress.
